The emblems

White: Like the purity and holiness of Jerusalem.
Blue: Like the blue thread of the tallit, which reminds us of the mitzvot.
The Star of David: Like the flag of the State of Israel, the shield of King David.
The crown: It represents the kingship of Jerusalem, inspired by its founder King David. It is also the jewel called “Yerushalayim shel zahav” worn by Rabbi Akiva’s wife, a golden crown representing the walls of Jerusalem.
The laurel: A plant, recalling our bond with the pitch and with nature. A symbol of peace and victory.
The football: What unites us and makes us vibrate. It remains the central, unifying element of our logo.

Our vision

Jerusalem Football Club aims to build winning teams that live by the laws of the Torah. These values are passed on within the club before and after every training session and every match. They are the very essence of our success.

Football has become the most followed sport in the world. It attracts more and more young people, boys and girls, in every country. The game, the strategy, the structure, the physical and technical performance have become a passion shared by millions.

We therefore want to share the best image of Jerusalem through the most popular sport on the planet. Our behaviour on the pitch, our communication and our decisions bear witness to our values.

Our goal is to move forward slowly but surely, pushing ourselves on the pitch at every training session and every match, for the joy of players, families and supporters. We will train tomorrow’s players within the club and, over time, recruit players to keep strengthening our team.

We respect every human being, whatever their differences, religious or ideological background.

Before every training session and every match, a 5-minute Torah lesson is given to the players of all teams. At the end of each session, in the dressing room, the coach links the lesson to what happened on the pitch. This sets us apart from other teams and guarantees the values passed on to players and supporters.

Jerusalem FC members share a taste for effort, commitment, surpassing themselves and the will to win.

A healthy lifestyle and respect for one’s own body are essential to give one’s best for the team. We tolerate no misconduct and educate our players in harmony with the club’s values.

Anger, pride, arrogance and selfishness are not part of our club’s values. Any harmful behaviour is severely punished, up to exclusion from the club.
